@malen and Jane – that sounds about right, lol. All our 11 new puppies already have names but I don’t think they (the puppies) know which name is for whom. It’s hard when 11 puppies come at you all at the same time.

She’s actually quite busy with her business travels. She needs all the money she can get to support 60, er 70, 80 plus?… cats.
She told me she’ll update this blog soon.

@scatterhaiku – Yeah, they’re all ours We have 15 dogs now and 80 plus(?) cats. I really don’t know where we get the money to feed all of them.

Cons here. I just got back from a business trip. I have been very busy. The economy is not really doing well, so we have to work harder to keep up with our competitors.
Jane, I have a bad news.
I received a call from our shelter caretaker 3 days ago informing me that our beloved Sola passed away. He was not eating well so they confined him to the isolation area. He was not really in bad shape but they just found him dead in his cage one morning.
I feel guilty. I know I could have done something If I was just around. But then again, I really have to work to be able to maintain the shelter.
Sigh….

Hi there Cons, it’s good to see you back. I can only imagine how hard you have to work to keep the funds coming in.
I’m very sorry to read that dear little Sola passed away. He was a poppet and would not have had months of love and care at the shelter if you and your caretakers had not taken him in and saved his sight. Do not feel guilty Cons, my dear, you cannot be in all places at once and what you do for these poor animals is a very wonderful thing.
Congratulations on the award, it is well deserved!
